I was informed by Bob today that on Wednesday we'll be having a meeting about soBendt. We all knew this was coming as he said and it's impossible to replace Cricket. Bob was instructed to not tell me about the meeting until tomorrow and I wish he would've waited. I've been told to put a stop to all promotional items that we were going to order for football season. He was disappointed to learn that the key chains have already been shipped. So the question I ask is why wait until Wednesday? I'm sure it's because the JB from corporate isn't available until then, but what do I do in the mean time? Should I go on with updating the site through October with band dates and other events? I've also been instructed to wait until Wednesday to inform those who are waiting for signed contracts from us that we won't be signing. It became apparent that Bob does not know what they'll do with me and was just trying to compensate by speculating about becoming a part of the digital committees, or heading up social networking. Who knows? It's all a really HUGE question mark and I'm struggling. As much as I knew this day was coming it still hurts. As I go through my email I realize just how many people I will have to inform. Ugh!
I've gotta stay positive.
I'm hoping and praying for a phone call about my resume.
